No, dermal fillers are not permanent. We offer both short and long-lasting fillers with durations ranging from 6 to 18 months, depending on the specific filler used. Hyaluronic acid fillers, for example, are natural and gradually broken down by the enzyme hyaluronidase, which is naturally present in the body. 

Yes, dermal filler treatments are reversible. In the rare event that a patient is dissatisfied with the results, the filler can be dissolved using injections of hyaluronidase enzyme. However, such occurrences are not recommended and thankfully infrequent, and we seldom need to perform this reversal procedure. 

Dermal fillers offer versatile solutions for various aesthetic concerns, including:

Usually the down time is minimal, however bruising and swelling can happen and varies from one person to the next.  Do not plan any events for a week after the treatment. 

No exercise, sauna, steam room is recommended for 24 hours. Alcohol should also be avoided for 24 hours before and after the procedure. You may experience mild swelling and mild bruising in the area which may last a few days. This can be covered with make-up after 12 hours.
